The End of Moore’s Law
In the mid 1960’s,
Gordon E. Moore stated that transistors would double in count every two years.
Although this theory has remained somewhat consistent over the past 50 years,
engineers have always questioned how long this would last. The current rate of
technological advancement, along with the halving price, sets up Moore’s Law to
end within the next decade....
